Dear Microsoft, I know How to Increase Your Market Share…Call Me
Dear Microsoft,
You’ve invested a crazy amount of money, time effort and more to get Windows Phone 7 to launch. I have to say, I received my phone last night and I am really pleased. Sure there’s not enough apps yet, but I assume they’re coming. What is here is very, very well done. Kudos.
In lieu of hiring me (unless you really, really want to), and in lieu of sending me loads of cash for this remarkable idea. How about to simply help support this site with Windows Phone 7 ads like every other site on the planet? Sure we’re new and from out of nowhere, but we have a simple suggestion that would increase your brand awareness a thousand-fold.

Windows Phone 7 Marketplace Details Released
From Ars Technica:
As with Apple’s App Store, Marketplace membership will cost developers $99 per year. For this, they will be able to submit an unlimited number of paid applications (with the same 70/30 split as the Apple store and existing Marketplace) and five free applications. Subsequent free applications will cost $19.99 to submit.
Windows Phone Lack of Upgrade

As a website all about apps for phones, our position in the market is to review apps across platforms. Hence, we have phones of all types here at the office. Today I was planning on spending a good portion of the day on my much ignored Windows 6.5 machine from Sprint.
I got to thinking about buying new apps and what my upgrade path will be when I/we adopt Windows Phone 7. Microsoft has decided to start from scratch in their development for their new OS and that means no upgrades. Yes you read that correctly. If you are, a loyal customer of Windows Mobile, your cache of apps will be garbage when you make the light year jump to Windows Phone 7.
