We’re big fans of Evernote here at Apps4Phones. In fact, whenever we get a new device, mobile or otherwise, Evernote is the first thing installed. One thing I really, really like about the Windows version, is the ability to use handwriting with the stylus.

I love taking notes on my Windows Phone on Evernote!. If you’re interested in learning more, check out their review here.

So far I am really pleased with the whole 15 minutes I’ve had to play and activate it. I’m also impressed with Windows Marketplace. Good early app choices, and frankly much better than the early options for the Pre. Sorry Pre.

One thing I already noticed, is that the software keyboard is identical to the HTC Hero. Guess that makes sense, given they are both HTC phones….

Last night I powered up my Experia X1 and while I love the hardware, I hate the fact that the software just seems so limited compared to the competition. We know that the Microsoft App store is coming. Now we also learn that there are likely to be a plenty of new phones loaded with 6.5 to handle the new App Store and better compete in this new App World.
