Palm Updates Palm Pre Firmware to 1.0.4

We’re downloading now and should have an official word from Palm soon.  It looks as though the update (according to Engadget) is to fix security issues and that “Sadly, Palm’s plugged the hole that allowed homebrew apps on the phone without a jailbreak, though anything you currently have on the phone will continue to work. How fast will they be back in business, do you suppose?”
